Playing as a mage in RF Online can be the most difficult job in terms of character progression because it requires complex skill requirements and an additional process of skill crafting. This is unlike other classes such as warriors and rangers, whose elite skills become available when they reach the required PT of 50 in Basic and Expert skills.
For mages, their elite force skill can only be unlocked once they reach level 40 and have obtained 50 PT in both Basic and Expert skills.
To craft Elite Force skills, follow this basic recipe and ensure that you have all the necessary materials before starting the process. It’s important to note that crafting Elite Force skills is not always 100% successful, therefore it’s a good idea to have extra materials on hand just in case of crafting failure.
After gathering all the required materials, you can start the combining process at the HERO NPC.
Elite Force Reavers Recipe:

You can purchase the Basic and Expert Reaver skills at the FORCE shop located in your respective HQ.

Exelsior Type and Success Rate:
- Type A ExelSiar = Low Success rate
- Type B ExelSiar = Mid Success Rate
- Type C ExelSiar = High Success rate
While it’s possible to use any type of Excelsior when combining, it’s generally recommended to use type C ExcelSiar because of its high success rate. Type C ExcelSiar has the highest chance of success when combining, so it’s best to use it whenever possible.
